Missions

Both Local and Global missions are integral to the church’s mission, reflecting the biblical mandate to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19) and to love and serve neighbors both near and far.

Local Missions can look like:

  • Providing support and serving our local community’s needs through project sign-ups.
  • Serving in the Portland Giving Tree, giving to children in need during the Christmas season.
  • Serving alongside local ministry partners.

Global Missions can look like:

  • Biannual trips to Costa Rica where we partner with Iglesia De La Ciudad, a local church in San Jose. We have different jobs and goals each time we visit but all with the same foundation to show and spread the love of Jesus and help the local church reach the lost. We are in prayer and research for more future Global Missions options as well.
