What is Discipleship Training Institute
The mission of the Discipleship Training Institute is to prepare people who are committed to becoming apprentices of Jesus, being With Jesus, being Like Jesus, and doing what Jesus did.
Through experiences in and outside the classroom, with ample opportunities to practice learnings in a real-life church environment, we prepare our students to be knowledgeable, engaged, service-oriented apprentices of Christ.
Simply put, the Discipleship Training Institute is Generation Church’s way of bringing seminary-level training to everyday believers.

C2 Theology - The Basics
Theology: The Basics is an introduction to the core beliefs of the Christian faith, who God is, what He’s done, and why it matters for our lives today.
This class helps you build a strong biblical foundation and deepen your understanding of God’s story and your place in it.

E1 Leadership - The Multiplication Effect
The Multiplication Effect is a leadership course that explores how to develop and empower others to lead, creating a culture of growth and multiplication.
Based on the book by Mac Lake, this class equips you to move from leading alone to building a team of leaders who multiply ministry impact.

E2 Bible - Bible History and How to Read It
Bible History and How to Read It is a journey through the grand narrative of Scripture, seeing how God’s story unfolds from Genesis to Revelation.
This class teaches you the history of the bible and equips you with tools to read the Bible with context, clarity, and confidence, connecting its history to your everyday faith.

This would be a great option for those wanting to grow into current or future leadership opportunities at Generation Church.
Please note that these courses are challenging. While you are welcome to enroll in all of the courses, we recommend enrolling in 1-2 courses to start.
Dinner and Childcare: Available to those who are ENROLLED. Each child must be registered – there is no registration fee for children
Books: Each person is responsible to buy the books required for each course. Books must be brought to first class. An email with all of the required books will be sent out at a later date.
Note: Fees are used for printing of materials, acquiring digital licenses required, and for food and childcare.
